Living alone

Emergency record for people who live alone

When you live alone, no one nearby can answer for you. With SOS Card, whoever gets there first points a camera at the QR and reads what responders need to know: what you have, what you take and who to call.

From R$ 39,90 · No app for whoever scans · Data protected under Brazil’s LGPD

The problem of falling ill with no one around

In an emergency, responders need answers: any illness, drug allergy, blood thinners, who’s the family? People who live with someone can count on that person to answer. If you live alone, you can’t. If you’re unconscious, confused or unable to speak, the information that matters stays locked inside you.

SOS Card takes those answers out of your head and puts them on the card in your wallet: a QR Code any phone can read, with no app and no sign-up.

What responders read when they scan

  • Who you are and who to call. Name, age and your emergency contacts, with a call button.
  • Conditions and allergies. Diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, drug allergies and anything else you add.
  • Ongoing medications, with the dose. A blood thinner, for example, changes how the team acts.
  • Quick instructions. A line from you to whoever helps, like “I have a pacemaker” or “I live alone, the spare key is with the neighbor in 302”.

You decide what anyone can see and what stays in the full layer, for health professionals only, with a log of who accessed it.

The people you authorized are alerted

On the Complete and Family plans, every time the QR is scanned you and the profile managers get an alert in the app and by email, with the approximate city of the scan. A son or daughter you’ve authorized, living far from a parent who lives alone, finds out right away, not hours later.

Tips for living alone

  • Card in your wallet, always. It’s where responders and hospitals look, along with your ID.
  • A contact who lives nearby. List at least two contacts, one of whom can get there quickly.
  • Leave a spare key with someone you trust and mention it in the record’s quick instructions.
  • Update after each appointment. Medication or dose changed? Edit it in the app, no new card needed.
  • Test it once. Scan it with your phone and check the record opens with the right data.

Frequently asked questions

If I collapse alone at home, does the card call anyone?

No. The card doesn’t call or detect falls: it speaks for you once someone arrives. When responders, a neighbor or a doorman scan the QR, the record shows your conditions, allergies and medications, and a button to call your contacts.

Does my family find out when the QR is scanned?

On the Complete and Family plans, yes: on every scan, you and the profile managers get an alert in the app and by email, with the approximate city (from the internet). If the person scanning allows it, their phone’s location arrives too.

Where should I keep the card?

In your wallet, next to your ID — that’s where responders look. You can also keep a second QR somewhere visible at home, like the fridge door, linked to the same record.

Does the person scanning need an app or a password?

No. Any phone camera opens the record in the browser. The full part of the record only opens for people who identify as health professionals, and every access is logged.

Can I change medications and contacts later?

Yes, anytime, in the app. The card only holds the code, so whoever scans it sees the new version.
